Angel Holler: Nishnabotna County Stories by D Bedell
Nishnabotna County is a place where meaness is a duty and most are diligent in their charge, if not zealous. The spirit of the people is captured by their favorite psalm, “It’s dog eat dog and Devil takes the hindmost.” With that in mind, there was always church on Sunday, sure as hell. Funerals as required for the just and unjust alike.
