This
tour represents the continuation of the collaboration of Gibby Haynes
working with Paul Green’s students that started in 2007. Back then
Paul’s students were working with a lot of progressive rock artists, and
he was worried they were only receiving one perspective on music. It
turned out that Paul and Gibby had a common friend in Dave Dreiwitz
(Ween, JRAD) who made the introduction. What followed was the best kind
of rock and roll insanity, including a reunion of the Butthole Surfers
for a European tour with Paul's students opening and augmenting the
headlining set.Since then, a tour of Gibby with Paul Green’s
students has occurred every three years or so, always with mind bending
results, including a legendary headlining set at the 2019 Meltasia
festival.
This is the fourth time they have all gotten back
together, and this tour features new original material that will be
recorded and released after this tour.

is a founder and lead singer of the legendary punk band Butthole
Surfers. In addition, he has acted in many movies, played in side
projects bands with Johnny Depp and Flea, published a YA novel, been a
painter and DJ
Paul Green (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_Green_(musician))
is the founder of School of Rock, was probably played by Jack Black in
that movie. Paul graduated from law school at 48, and founded his dream
school for dedicated students, the Paul Green Rock Academy, in 2017.
