‘Stretch Your Eyes’ is the new single from Agnes Obel, the fourth to be taken from Obel’s critically acclaimed new album ‘Citizen of Glass’ ‘Citizen of Glass’ has been Obel’s most successful album in the UK, doubling the first week sales of her last album, 2013’s ‘Aventine’, and giving the Danish artist her first Top 30 album.
Next month, Obel will embark on a headline North American tour, including an appearance at SXSW Festival in Austin TX. She will return to Europe in May for a string of dates which include London’s Roundhouse, her biggest headline UK show to date. Last November Obel’s sold-out show at Shepherd’s Bush Empire received a 4 star review in Evening Standard, who wrote “part musical scientist, part emotional conduit… Obel is as much about heart as precision.”
