LUNIC
Releases Steamy Video for
“Far Away”
"All-girl New Yorkers
Lunic make distinctive and sultry psychedelic indie with hints of downbeat
British electronica acts The xx and Portishead. Mournful dashes of violin
and melodic lead guitar flourish."

The gorgeous women of New York’s LUNIC are
back again, this time with a video for the electrifying single, “Far
Away.” The all-female electro-pop outfit are on the verge of
releasing their highly anticipated sophomore album, Future Sex Drama, due out September 2012. The seductive video will
not only capture your ears, but your eyes as well. The piece is colorful
yet dark simultaneously, with haunting vocals. The intriguing video gives
you a glimpse of Lunic’s musical beauty and the electro-glam that
follows.
Recommended if you like Phantogram, Lykke Li,
Metric, Ladytron, or The xx, Lunic has something in store for you.
Smooth beats and infectious harmonies are surrounded by an echoing violin,
which will quickly grab your attention. The eye-catching video puts a new
twist on the song, making you fall in love with the band (if you aren’t
already!)
Consisting of songwriter/multi- instrumentalist
Kaitee Page, electric midi violinist Megan Berson, and live drummer Masha
Mayer, the band has been playing countless shows not only in New York, but
around the world. A truly unique style of keyboards, violins, guitars,
effects, loops, and midi controllers are used to skillfully and carefully
construct each track, creating a truly beautiful piece of art. Their
electrifying creations are the perfect blend of synthpop and electro-indie
which makes for an incredible and catchy combination, and you will get a
glimpse of this in their newest video.
