Tesco Vee... The very sound of his name strikes fear in the hearts of god fearing zealots and PC peckerheads around the globe. For three decades he has plyed his craft with poison pen and an onstage persona the Washington Post once called 'A cross between Buddy Hackett and Johnny Rotten" and fans of scumpunk can rejoice, he hath returned once again. The prodigal son of perversion, the second coming of 'Beelze-bob' kicks off a series of shows with his 'Summer of The Cuddly Convict Consort' Series July 16 in Cleveland Ohio.
Sporting his latest coterie of hardened ex-cons, Tesco swears this brand spankin' new line up of Tesco Vee's Hate Police to be the biggest, baddest and beefiest assemblage of bangers he has ever had the pleasure to join on stage. Featuring 'Hairy Pits" Latini on the axe (recently paroled from Rikers Island for crimes against man, nature, and an antalope), Freddie 'Green Sack' Cobretti on the basso profundo (recently paroled from the supermax wing of San Quentin for assault and buggery, Zip Gun manufacture, and for delivering repeated 'wood shampoos' in the cellblock'), and Swarthy 'Bun Length' Franklin (just extricated via late nite chopper commando raid from the yard of Jackson Prison, where he spent 7 years for moonshining, bunko, and grifting grannies).
"This line up of hardened pricks flat out brings it on stage," Tesco hath recently extolled.
T.V.H.P embarks on this series of shows to promote the new book Touch and Go - The Complete Hardcore Punk Fanzine 1979-83. All 22 issues, and 576 pages, of the seminal fanzine in one loud fast volume are brought to you by the good people at Bazillion Points. Bands along for the ride at various stops on this cavorting cavalcade of cockbags, includes Negative Approach, Hellmouth, White Flag, and many others. Many bookstore appearances are also planned where Tesco will be signing copies of this bombastic brick and glad handing the throngs of punters in attendance.
Don't miss the return of big TV and his heinous henchman, as Tesco Vee's Hate Police invades a burg near you. Packin' a set thats 50/50 Meatmen classics and the rest vitriolic Hate Police burners, and well picked cover tunes, trust us this ain't no feeble-ass comeback nostalgia trip.

Tesco was recently polyresinated into a throbblehead produced by punk collectibles company AGGRONAUTIX. This rockin' figure is limited to 1000 numbered units, stands at 7 inches tall, and is made of a lightweight polyresin. Displayed in a tri-windowed box, here Tesco is accurately sculpted right down to the ABBA pants and clogs.
